Bartrams - A case study

 

 

Background:

 

In a very competitive and somewhat hostile marketplace, Bartrams a full service product website approached us to design a website that encompassed the range of products and services offered, build their presence online and increase brand loyalty

 

Our Approach :

 

At first we undertook a detailed analysis into the key selling products and the number of competing websites

 

We then wrote the copy for the website focusing on creating strong messages for the key selling products and built a design around these key products

 

Our goal was to create a website that was not just search engine friendly but one that visitors to the website would find easy to navigate through, stimulate their interest and easily allow them to make purchases

 

 

We then followed this up by by establishing a weekly communication strategy to the Bartram's customers from first time visitors to long term loyal customers

 

This strategy included assessing the most attractive product offers for each audience, designing and writing a weekly newsletter, encouraging more site visitors to become subscribers to the newsletter, constructing a database of opt-in subscriber's and coming up with fresh and innovative promotions to increase conversion ratios

 

The Result:

 

Bartrams enjoyed high search rankings and continues to do so today

 

These high placements have brought huge benefits in traffic numbers and sales

 

Our e-marketing and communication strategy enabled Bartrams to increase it's opt-in subscriber's database by an unprecedented 300%

 

With a strong surge in sales and a better than average conversion ratio across the whole range of Bartrams products

 

Added to this recent in-house customer surveys indicate that members have enjoyed receiving the weekly newsletter and are more likely to consider buying from Bartrams in the near future

 

Subscriber's have also indicated their willingness to recommend friends and family to take advantage of bargain offers provided by Bartrams

 

Bartrams are now in their 8th year online and continues to recruit new opt-in members daily
